• Cleared Regional ESS Service Technician

    Job Description

    We are looking for a Cleared ESS Service Tech to join the regional service team in DC immediately. This is supporting multiple government customers, and it does require a Secret clearance as a minimum with a preference for a TS clearance.

     

    This position is based in the National Capital Region. You will be switching from job sites daily/weekly depending on the project needs in the area.

     

    o Typical sites: Navy Yard, Downtown DC, Fort Detrick, Pax River

    o As an Electronic Security Technician, you will:

    • Conducts maintenance and service work of existing Electronic Security Systems (ESS) to include, but not limited to, access controls, intrusion detection, and camera systems. Specific systems include, but not limited to: SoftwareHouse C-cure 9000, Bosch, MDI and American Dynamics.

    • May installs security devices and infrastructure at times in accordance with installation plan according to the national electric code, company and customer guidelines

    • Assists with security system programming and setup.

    • Conducts testing to ensure proper operation of equipment after installation or repairs

    • Conducts testing of system to the signal-receiving center to properly establish service.

    • Coordinates installations with police/fire departments and handles necessary records for notification of emergency calls.

     

    Typical shift: Monday-Friday, 6-2:30

    Skills and Requirements

     

    o Secret clearance minimum – Top Secret preferred

     

    o 3-5 years of experience in electronic security service / maintenance for access control, intrusion and CCTV for federal buildings

     

    • Light installation experience

    • Break fix, daily maintenance checks

    o Experience with CCURE 9000 and Bosch or American Dynamics

    • Lenel, Hirsch, Genetec are all transferrable

     

    o HS diploma Top Secret clearance

     

    CCURE 9000 Certification or any other manufacturer certification
