Job Summary:
ACCOUNTABILITIES
*All duties listed below are essential unless noted otherwise*
+ Maintain a calendar of outreach activities, including some community events, workshops, in-person engagements, and other communication opportunities.
+ Develop an inclusive engagement strategy that includes residents, stakeholders and partners providing services in the community and actively participate in local meetings and events (some evenings and weekends).
+ Coordinate and schedule literacy-based activities in the community.
+ Work with Adrian Ebeid Neighborhood Promise staff to engage and coordinate volunteers for activities and projects and support annual special events recognizing the successes, efforts, and collaborative contributions in the community.
+ Coordinate the development of messaging and communications for Adrian ENP social media pages regarding opportunities for residents, stakeholders, and partners to participate in events, programming, and outreach.
+ Work with Adrian Ebeid Neighborhood Promise staff and residents on events and workshops promoting gardening, healthy habits, and lifestyles.
+ Coordinate data evaluation for engagement, events, and other related activities and contribute to department monthly evaluation reporting.
+ Work with Adrian Ebeid Neighborhood Promise staff and partners to cultivate new and maintain current resident participation and leadership in programs, strategies, events, and interventions aligned with Adrian Ebeid Neighborhood Promise and Adrian Resilient Communities Plan.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
**Education:** High School Diploma or equivalent; Experience in community outreach, engagement, healthcare, public health, or related field.
**Skills:** Self-motivated individual with ability to build relationships, trust, and cohesion across multi-sector groups. Highly motivated with strong believe in continuous learning principles. Possesses cultural competence and embraces diversity, equity, and inclusion across all facets of engagement and outreach. Demonstrated interpersonal, written and communication skills. Demonstrated experience conducting grassroots engagement and outreach. Demonstrated ability to develop social medial communications and outreach messaging raising awareness of resources and programming available.
