Shift: Tues-Sat (8pm-4:30am)

The Utility position provides the shampoo carpets, waxing, stripping, polishing and buffing floors.

Essential Functions:

* Floor person is responsible for cleaning and maintaining carpet and hard surface floors, including stripping, scrubbing, buffing, waxing, refinishing, sealing and spot cleaning.

* Responsible for using safety measures in work areas.

* Duties also include assisting the Building/Account Lead with special projects including but not limited to, setups, breakdowns, move in/ move outs).

* Floor Tech must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned.

Responsibilities

+ Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them. Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.

+ Strips, seals, finishes, and polishes floors

+ Cleans and vacuums carpeted areas, including application of spot cleaning treatment

+ Drives vehicles (if required) to perform or travel to cleaning work, including vans, industrial trucks, or industrial vacuum cleaners

+ Clean restrooms, conference rooms, lobby, breakrooms and halls.

+ Remove trash, mopping, sweeping, dusting, vacuuming and remove trash.

+ Miscellaneous duties as assigned

Qualifications

+ Must be 18 years of age or older

+ Must meet all requirements to receive approval for working in specific ATS environments (if applicable), including ten-year work history if available

+ Operate different machines to clean building floors.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Customer Service Experience

+ 1 year of similar work experience
