Job Summary

Hiring Range: $62,000.00 – $67,000.00 annually
This position has an anticipated work schedule of Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm; subject to change.

Provides support for the Organization Development Division of the Human Resources Department. Performs a variety of administrative and technical duties, including maintaining the learning management system. Employment is subject to the terms, conditions, and policies detailed in the Personnel Policies Manual (PPM). This position requires regular in-person presence as an essential job function.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
+ Serves as the main point of contact for the division; answers any questions related to training and development and the learning management system. Maintains the training calendar and assists with scheduling.
+ Performs data entry and maintenance of the learning management system, performance management system, and other relevant human resources programs/HRIS systems.
+ Organizes and prepares materials and supplies for training courses and presentations.
+ Utilizes various software to enhance training presentations and build them into an interactive on-demand class for the learning management system.
+ Participates in the development of integration and implementation processes to better serve online learning participants.
+ Researches capabilities of the learning management system and recommends process improvements.
+ Tracks relevant data and compiles reports on training programs.
+ Collects and compiles employee feedback and requests related to training programs and presentations.
+ Assists with various training, organizational development, and performance management projects.
+ Assists with various Human Resources functions as needed.
+ Performs other duties as required.
Supervision Exercised:This classification does not have supervisory authority and requires no supervision or direction of others.
Supervision Received:Receives intermittent supervision. This classification normally performs the job by following established standard operating procedures and/or policies. Regular direction, guidance, and coaching from supervisor is expected. There is a choice of the appropriate procedure or policy to apply to duties. Performance reviewed periodically.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
+ Knowledge of the principles, procedures, and practices of human resources and organizational development.
+ Knowledge and understanding of eLearning technologies and learning management systems.
+ Must possess excellent customer service skills and a high level of organizational skills and initiative.
+ Must be organized and possess a high level of attention to detail.
+ Must be proficient with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Must be receptive to adoption and application of new and innovative technologies and technological platforms.
+ Ability to identify opportunities and recommend actions for continuous improvement.
+ Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, County staff, Elected officials, and the public.
+ Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
+ Ability to prepare clear and concise reports, spreadsheets, charts, graphs, and presentations. Must be able to provide accurate and detailed information.
+ Ability to maintain confidentiality.
+ Ability to effectively manage, coordinate, and prioritize multiple projects using professional judgment with minimal supervision in a high-volume environment with frequent interruptions.
+ Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
+ Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Required Education & Experience
+ High school diploma or equivalent education.
+ Two years of Human Resources, organizational development, or related experience.
+ Associate’s degree in a related field may substitute for one year of the required experience.
+ Bachelor’s degree in a related field may substitute for two years of the required experience.
Preferred Education & Experience
+ Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar creative design software.
+ Experience with learning management systems and eLearning software.
Pre-Employment Requirements
+ Must pass conditional post offer background investigation and drug screen.
Work Conditions
Duties are primarily performed in an office and remote work environment dependent upon Department discretion and business needs.
