Where You’ll Work
This position is based in our Lenexa, KS office. We leverage a hybrid working model working three days in the office, two days optional remote work.
What You’ll Do The Senior Interoperability Project Manager will lead strategic interoperability and data integration initiatives across CHA, focusing on the implementation of scalable, standards-based data integration pipelines between member hospitals and CHA. This role will manage complex technical projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and serve as the primary liaison between external partners and internal stakeholders.
+ Lead end-to-end execution of complex interoperability and data integration projects, ensuring that projects remain in-scope and meet resourcing, scheduling, and quality requirements.
+ Define project scope, deliverables, goals, risks, blockers, success metrics, and estimated resources in alignment with organizational goals.
+ Create, manage, and distribute detailed project artifacts such as plans, timelines, charters, status updates, and post-implementation reviews.
+ Manage project risks, dependencies, and escalations, driving resolution through collaboration and technical insight.
+ Motivate project teams, coordinate resources, and resolve conflicts to ensure a collaborative environment, timely delivery, and quality outcomes.
+ Serve as the primary point of contact on interoperability and data integration projects for external vendors, hospital teams, and internal stakeholders.
+ Communicate routinely with internal and external stakeholders, monitoring and reporting on project activities and actively soliciting and addressing feedback.
+ Facilitate recurring project team calls, status updates, risk assessments, risk mitigation, and issue resolution across internal and external stakeholders.
Required Experience:
What You’ll Bring to CHA
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge is qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent work experience.
+ 8+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in healthcare data integration involving vendors and healthcare organizations.
+ Knowledge of healthcare interoperability frameworks and healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR).
+ Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, MS Project).
+ Certifications preferred - PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent.

More About CHA
This pay range shown is a guideline. Min: $80,000 Max: $160,000 Compensation is based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
