Job Title : Inventory Clerk - Loveland, CO
Pay Rate: $20.90/ hour
**Schedule:** Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm
***Job Starts as a 3 month Contract position
Job Summary
The primary role of this position requires attention to detail and standing/walking all day to ensure a timely and accurate flow of materials into the facility. This position also requires computer skills and the ability to lift 40 lbs. Must be reliable.
Essential Job Duties
+ Assists With Cycle Counts if needed. Material Planner would request assistance.
+ Communicates with Buyer(s) if materials arrive in suspect condition. Must use good judgment to determine if materials should be refused due to damage.
+ Works in conjunction with Material Planner associates to properly and safely place materials.
+ Serves as a back-up for Material planners as needed. (Receiving exempt)
+ Prepares materials and delivers materials to designated locations through the use of manual or powered equipment.
+ Verifies Quantity and part from Traveler receipt.
+ Inspects for visible damage to materials. Verifies correct part number received
+ Completes daily reports, audits and cell boards.
+ Executes Kanban and VMS processes in work cell.
+ Responsible for placement of materials in such a fashion that is efficient and safe, Kan-Ban management, and 5S.
+ May be required to gather part number label requirements from each cell, produce labels, and return to the cell.
+ Deploy KB cards assigned by Material Planner
Minimum Requirements:
+ Ability to follow standard operating procedures with a moderate amount of supervision
+ Has developed skills through formal training or considerable work experience
+ Recognizes and solves typical problems that can occur in own work area without supervisory approval; evaluates and selects solutions from established options
+ Must safely operate material handling equipment (ie: pallet jacks)
