    Our client, a leading organization in the government contracting and federal services sector, is seeking a SAP Federal Cost Accounting Standards Consultant to join their team. As a SAP Federal Cost Accounting Standards Consultant, you will be part of the financial management support team, contributing to compliance and optimization of federal cost accounting practices. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** SAP Federal Cost Accounting Standards Consultant

    **Location:** Remote with travel to Kansas City, MO (2 weeks onsite every other month)

    Pay Range:

    What's the Job?

     

    + Configure and implement the Controlling (CO) module within SAP for U.S. government agencies and contractors.

    + Ensure all cost accounting practices comply with federal regulations such as FAR and CAS.

    + Support cost recovery, manage annual rate establishment, and analyze profitability across government contracts.

    + Design, configure, and implement SAP CO modules including Cost Center Accounting and Product Costing.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cost data with SAP Analytics Cloud, Project Systems, Funds Management, and Finance modules.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Relevant experience with SAP, preferably S/4HANA, in cost accounting or financial management roles.

    + Deep understanding of cost accounting principles and federal regulations such as FAR, CAS, and GAAP.

    + Extensive knowledge of SAP Controlling (CO) module and its integration with other SAP modules.

    + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

    + Ability to obtain or hold active public trust or secret clearance, with a preference for active Top Secret clearance.
