Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled **Tube Extrusion Operator** to join our 3rd shift team. The ideal candidate will have prior machine operating experience and the ability to work independently while maintaining high quality and safety standards. Training will be provided for extrusion-specific tasks.

3rd shift: 22:00-06:30 Monday to Friday

Pay: 19.49/Hr

Key Responsibilities

+ Set up and operate extrusion equipment to meet product specifications.

+ Install dies, machine screws, and sizing rings using hand tools.

+ Load mixed materials into the machine hopper.

+ Start equipment and regulate air pressure, temperatures, and other controls.

+ Adjust machine parameters to achieve required dimensions and quality standards.

+ Select proper tooling for each work order.

+ Perform routine maintenance on extrusion equipment.

+ Inspect products for visual defects and take corrective action when necessary.

+ Complete housekeeping tasks to keep the work area clean and organized.

+ Follow all safety rules and wear required protective equipment.

+ Report accidents and unsafe conditions immediately.

+ Accurately complete all required paperwork, including time sheets, work order documentation, stock movement tickets, scrap tickets, and identification tags.

+ Enter data into the CMPC system.

+ Assist in training other employees as needed.

+ Communicate shift updates regarding parts, equipment status, and other relevant information.

+ Coil, package, bag, seal, and box product according to requirements.

+ Maintain and follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).

+ Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

+ Previous machine operating experience required (extrusion experience a plus).

+ Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

+ Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.

+ Willingness to work 3rd shift schedule.

+ Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
