As a **Security Officer - Armed Financial Patrol** in **Jacksonville, FL** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer, where you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a financial institution location. You will interact with clients and visitors, assist with access control, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and observe for unusual conditions.

+ Monitor and control access points, verifying identification and permissions of individuals entering restricted areas within the location.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of observations, incidents, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal protocols.

+ Assist with emergency response procedures, including evacuations or lockdowns, in accordance with site-specific guidelines.

+ Interact with employees, visitors, and/or members of the public to provide information and assistance as needed, while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.

+ Carry and maintain control of assigned firearm and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal and site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

+ An Armed Guard Card or License is required.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
