As an Armed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence for staff, patients, and visitors. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare environment.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols for healthcare locations.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols inside the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support hospital staff and visitors as needed.

+ Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any security-related issues, hazards, or unusual occurrences to the appropriate personnel.

+ Assist with crowd control and/or visitor management during peak periods or emergency situations as required.

+ Collaborate with Allied Universal management and healthcare staff to address security-related concerns and promote a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Applicants must have at least five years of security-related experience.

+ Applicants must have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.

+ An armed guard card or license is required.

+ Proof of high school diploma or General Education Diploma is required by the client.

+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
