Tax Manager

We are seeking a skilled and relationship-driven **Tax Manager** who enjoys working closely with clients and supporting their long-term financial goals. In this role, you will develop a deep understanding of clients’ personal and business objectives and deliver high-quality, consultative tax planning and compliance services.
A key part of this position involves managing the preparation and review of individual income tax, trust, and gift tax returns. You will also oversee a portion of the Tax Services team, guiding both workflow and client-facing planning.
Key Responsibilities
+ Lead a tax client service team responsible for compliance, planning, and client communication.
+ Conduct final review and sign-off of federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and estates.
+ Oversee tax projections, manage tax audits, and ensure accurate and timely filings.
+ Collaborate with the advisory team to support comprehensive tax planning.
+ Provide client support through calls, emails, and participation in client meetings.
+ Perform technical tax research and stay current with relevant regulations and guidance.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and active CPA required; Master’s in Taxation or JD preferred.
+ 4+ years of experience with complex individual income tax compliance; trust, estate, gift, and partnership experience required.
+ Strong analytical skills with experience in data collection and evaluation.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and the ability to learn new software quickly (e.g., Salesforce, tax research tools).
+ Experience with CCH Axcess Tax and BNA Tax Planner preferred.
+ Strong research capabilities and working knowledge of the Internal Revenue Code and related regulations.
+ Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
+ Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.

**Pay Details:** $110,000.00 to $115,000.00 per year
