**Pay Rate:** $19.00/ (19.00/hr) (based on experience, education, and location)
**Schedule:** Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (CST)
**Location** : Onsite – Irving, TX
(Must live within a 2-hour driving distance)
Position Overview
As a Pharmacy Technician, you’ll support essential pharmacy operations by building patient profiles, entering prescription data, and assisting pharmacists with safe and compliant medication processing. Your accuracy and attention to detail will directly support patient safety and pharmacy workflow efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
• Accurately create patient profiles and enter prescription information
• Review orders for completeness; contact prescribers for missing details
• Interpret prescriptions and verify patient/physician information
• Calculate dosage conversions (metric & apothecary)
• Support pharmacists in safe medication distribution
• Maintain clean, organized, compliant workstations
• Process prescription orders efficiently and accurately
• Update software templates and assist with administrative tasks
• Follow HIPAA and all regulatory guidelines
• Display urgency, professionalism, and strong multitasking skills
Key Skills
• Excellent phone skills and communication abilities
• Strong multitasking and time-management skills
• High attention to detail + accuracy under pressure
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
• Reliable transportation required
• Bilingual Spanish a plus (not required)
Minimum Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED
• Pharmacy Technician License
• 1–3 years experience in a Data Intake Pharmacy environment
• Typing speed 30+ WPM
• Must live within 2 hours of Irving, TX
• Must have reliable transportation
Physical Requirements
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and reach frequently
• Push/pull and lift/carry up to 15 lbs
• Professional, office-based environment
