Job Title: Roofing Supervisor
Pay: $30 - $35 / hr
Schedule: Monday - Friday / Day shift
Job Description
The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor will oversee roofing repairs, maintenance, and coating projects, ensuring efficient and safe operations. This role involves managing Yardi Work Orders, leading and training roofing teams, and ensuring safety and quality compliance across projects.
Responsibilities
+ Direct and supervise roofing repairs, maintenance, and coating projects.
+ Manage and prioritize Yardi Work Orders.
+ Lead, train, and support Roofing Leads and Technicians.
+ Conduct roof inspections and provide accurate condition assessments.
+ Implement proactive leak prevention strategies.
+ Order and track materials and manage equipment use and inventory.
+ Enforce safety compliance with company policies and OSHA standards.
+ Conduct regular jobsite safety inspections.
+ Inspect projects to ensure scope, warranty, and safety compliance.
+ Monitor production metrics and recommend process improvements.
+ Review and approve timecards in HRIS.
+ Maintain accurate documentation of job progress, labor, materials, and project notes.
+ Coordinate with Property Managers and tenants to minimize disruption.
+ Act as the main point of contact for Roofing Leads and Technicians.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with roof condition inspections and proactive leak mitigation.
+ Ability to manage multiple crews with consistent quality and efficiency.
+ Skills in material ordering, equipment oversight, and safety compliance.
+ Proficiency in Yardi, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
+ Experience with timekeeping software, preferably Paylocity.
+ Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
+ Working knowledge of commercial/industrial roofing procedures and safety.
+ Technical knowledge of EPDM, TPO, PVC, Modified Systems, and more.
+ Knowledge of safety regulations for roofing and OSHA requirements.
+ Must be able to climb ladders and stairs, and lift 40+ pounds.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 5+ years of experience in commercial roofing, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.
+ High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ Knowledge of BUR, Single Ply, EPDM, TPO PVC, and Waterproofing Techniques.
+ Valid California driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Work Environment
The role requires traveling to various locations within the portfolio. Must be able to work in extreme environments, such as hot sun and below freezing temperatures, and in crawl spaces. A valid California driver's license is required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00/yr.
