    Job Description

    This is a production MIG welding role working on mild steel. You will be responsible for jig and fixture welding, setting up jigs/fixtures according to prints, and welding a high volume of frames in various positions including flat and overhead.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform MIG welding on mild steel frames.

    + Set up jigs and fixtures according to blueprints.

    + Weld in a variety of positions including flat and overhead.

    + Work off work orders and ensure accuracy in welding processes.

    + Utilize tape measures and blueprint reading for assembly and fabrication tasks.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in MIG welding techniques.

    + Experience in blueprint reading and assembly.

    + Ability to measure accurately using tape measures.

    + Knowledge of jig and fixture welding processes.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in TIG welding is a plus.

    + Strong understanding of welding safety protocols.

    + Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is beneficial.

    Work Environment

     

    The company operates in a state-of-the-art, exceptionally clean manufacturing facility, focusing on the production of city buses. Welders will work in a union environment, adhering to a dress code of steel-toed boots, jeans, and a t-shirt. The work schedule includes a standard 1st shift from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, with potential opportunities to transition to a night shift. There is also a rotating Saturday schedule for mandatory overtime, as needed

    This is a Permanent position based out of SAINT CLOUD, MN.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $60000.00/yr.
