    Job Summary and Responsibilities

    + Demonstrates effective technical nursing skills as documented in unit skills checklists.

    + Prepares for and directs patient care assignments based on acuity and competency of personnel.

    + Ensures screening, evaluation, treatment of patients results in appropriate service delivery, positive clinical outcomes.

    + Participates in hiring, training, coaching and termination of staff, as assigned by Director.

    + Effectively supervises, orients, trains and evaluates staff ensuring effective staff performance and high standards of care.

    + Identifies ongoing training needs of staff, plans annual in-services, classes and training.

    Job Requirements

    Required

    + Bachelors Of Science Nursing

    + 3 years of critical care experience, and demonstrated leadership skills

    + Experience in related unit, and demonstrated leadership skills

    + Registered Nurse: CA RN

    + Basic Life Support - CPR

    + Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 90 Days

    Preferred

    + Mentorship experience

    + Critical RN Adult/Neonatal/Pediatric/Acute

    Pay Range

    $49.22 - $72.19 /hour
