Job Description
Join our General Fabrication department and be at the forefront of our manufacturing process. As part of the team, you will prepare sheet metal parts for assembly. Your role will involve working in either the Punch Out or Nut Cert areas. In Punch Out, you'll remove and stack metal parts from large sheets, akin to disassembling a puzzle. In Nut Cert, you'll insert nuts and bolts into parts, preparing them for further assembly. This role requires standing in one spot and repeating tasks for 10 hours a day.
Responsibilities
+ Punch out metal parts from large sheets and stack them correctly.
+ Identify positions for nuts and bolts using a CPU screen in the Nut Cert area.
+ Drill holes, insert nuts, and prepare parts for assembly.
+ Assist in loading parts into the paint booth as needed.
+ Be flexible to rotate between Punch Out and Nut Cert based on training and business needs.
Essential Skills
+ Experience standing for at least 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week.
+ Ability to repetitively lift 20-25lb parts, up to 50+ times per day.
+ Proficiency using power tools and hand tools.
+ Ownership of steel-toed or composite-toed protective shoes.
+ Capability to work safely and maintain high-quality standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Mechanical aptitude is a plus.
+ Experience in quality inspection and mechanical assembly is beneficial.
Available Shift & Pay
+ Night shift: 4:30pm - 3:00am. Monday - Thursday
+ Mandatory overtime is on Fridays
+ **$19.50**

Work Environment
The fabrication area includes a massive laser cutting machine, deburring and brazing stations, and workstations for hand tool tasks. The assembly area is non-conveyor based, with units moving on carts. The facility is temperature-controlled, although arm sleeves may cause slight warmth. Shifts are from 6am-4:30pm for the first shift and 4:30pm-3am for the second shift, with mandatory overtime on Fridays. The dress code requires steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, protective sleeves, and gloves, with appropriate pants worn at the waist.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $19.50/hr.
