    Electronics Quality Inspector - 1st Shift - $23/hr-$26/hr

    Job Description

    The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all cable assemblies, wire harnesses, and electromechanical builds meet customer specifications, industry standards, and internal quality requirements. This role involves performing detailed inspections and documentation to maintain compliance with IPC standards and AS9100/ISO9001 quality systems. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, technical knowledge, and the ability to communicate effectively with production and quality teams.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform detailed inspections of cable assemblies, wire harnesses, and electromechanical builds.

    + Ensure compliance with IPC standards and AS9100/ISO9001 quality systems.

    + Document inspection results and maintain accurate records.

    + Communicate effectively with production and quality teams to address nonconformance issues.

    + Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and fixture setup.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum 2 years of experience in inspection of cable assemblies, wire harnesses, or electronic assemblies.

    + Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.

    + Familiarity with AS9100 and ISO9001 quality systems.

    + Strong documentation and reporting skills.

    + Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity for fine assembly work.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Basic understanding of electricity and electronic components.

    + Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

    + Experience with IPC 620, dimensional verification, nonconformance identification, and quality control.

    + Skills in soldering (wire to wire, wire to connector, lacing) and heat shrinking.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
