    Job Title: MIG Welder/Fabricator

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder/Fabricator with expertise in welding and fabrication to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating aluminum parts using gas metal arc welding for various metal structures such as manholes, handholes, vaults, culverts, or utility boxes and stormwater systems. This role requires laying out, fitting, and welding fabricated aluminum components to assemble structural forms for door hatches, ladder assemblies, and other aluminum components.

    Responsibilities

    + Fabricate aluminum parts using gas metal arc welding.

    + Lay out, fit, and weld fabricated aluminum components.

    + Assemble structural forms for door hatches, ladder assemblies, and various other components.

    + Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings.

    + Utilize portable and stationary power tools effectively.

    Essential Skills

    + 2-3+ years of MIG welding experience.

    + Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation.

    + Experience in fabrication and assembly of aluminum components.

    + Familiarity with hand tools and mechanical equipment.

    + Experience with production line welding.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + TIG welding on stainless steel is a plus.

    + Experience with steel gas metal arc welding is a plus.

    + Proficiency in using portable power tools such as drills, saws, impact hammers, and wrenches.

    + Experience with stationary power tools like vertical hand saws, drill presses, compound miter saws, and radial arm saws.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in an industrial facility that includes a warehouse, welding bays, assembly area, shop area, and break room. The environment is well-ventilated, clean for a weld/assembly shop, but can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Enjoy a consistent 1st shift schedule from Monday to Friday, starting at either 5am-1:30pm or 6am-2:30pm.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of SPRING CITY, PA.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
