    Responsibilities:

    - Set up and operate CNC machine to perform precision machining operations

     

    - Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations

     

    - Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and efficiency

     

    - Inspect in-process and finished parts using precision measuring instruments

     

    - Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any machining issues

     

    - Follow relevant QMS processes and procedures (including work instructions)

     

    - Maintain a clean and organized work area

    5-Axis Responsibilities:

    - Set up and operate state-of-the-art 4 and 5-axis CNC mills.

     

    - Manufacture tight-tolerance, complex components from aerospace-grade alloys (aluminum and hard alloys)

     

    - Interpret and execute part programs, blueprints, and 3D CAD/CAM output with GD&T

     

    - Perform tool selection, in-process inspections, and adaptive machining adjustments

     

    - Collaborate with engineering and quality to ensure parts meet AS9100 and customer specifications.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    - High school diploma or equivalent

     

    - Proven experience as a CNC Machinist/Lathe Machinist/5 Axis Machinist OR similar role

     

    - Strong knowledge of machining techniques and tools

     

    - Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

     

    - Experience in aerospace industry a PLUS

     

    - Experience with Kitamura, Mazak and Grob is a PLUS!!

     

    - Experience with Mazak Integrex and Quikturns is a PLUS!! (CNC Lathe)

     

    - 5-Axis experience is a PLUS!!

    This is a Contract position based out of Wheat Ridge, CO.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
