Weekend Nights Machine Operator Needed in Blaine, MN

Working Weekend Overnight Shift $22.80-23.10/hr

(Must Need to Train on 3rd Shift)

Job Description

Join the Cannula Department where you will operate various machines that produce wires outside the clean room on the manufacturing floor. This position involves buffing, grinding, bending, crimping, and twisting wires using machines primarily run by a foot pedal at your own pace. The role requires good fine motor skills to feed thin wires into production machines. Although repetitive, you will receive training on multiple machines and be responsible for visual inspection and measurement checks using micrometers and calipers. Documentation and reading work instructions are part of your tasks, and there is an opportunity for cross-training to other machine stations and the clean room area.

Responsibilities

+ Operate machines to produce wires, including buffing, grinding, bending, crimping, and twisting.

+ Use fine motor skills to feed thin wires into production machines.

+ Inspect wires visually and measure dimensions using micrometers and calipers.

+ Document processes and read from work instructions.

+ Participate in cross-training for other machine stations and the clean room area.

Work Environment

Work in a medical regulated environment that does not require a cleanroom for this department. The shop is well-lit, clean, and organized, with most tasks performed sitting down, though standing is sometimes necessary. The environment emphasizes safety and aptitude around larger machines. Weekend overnight shifts are Friday from 8:30 pm to 9 am, Saturday from 5:30 pm to 6 am, and Sunday from 3 pm to 3:30 am. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.80 - $23.10/hr.
