Job Title: CNC Lathe Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to join our team at a distinguished job shop specializing in custom components, production, repair, and refurbishment. Established in 1976, we support various industries including manufacturing, aerospace, fishing, construction, and food, working on projects of all sizes. If you have a passion for small production runs, one-off parts, and equipment repairs, this opportunity could be the perfect fit for you.
Responsibilities
+ Program, set up, and run CNC lathes.
+ Edit and program using G-code.
+ Read and interpret manufacturing prints accurately.
+ Utilize handheld measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers proficiently.
+ Work independently with a detail-oriented approach.
+ Apply good math and trigonometry skills.
+ Perform manual machining for small jobs, tooling, and fixtures.
+ Maintain machines, ensuring they are clean and running efficiently.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in CNC lathe programming and operation.
+ Proficiency in reading and interpreting manufacturing prints.
+ Ability to use handheld measuring tools like micrometers and calipers.
+ Strong math and trigonometry skills.
+ Manual machining experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Fusion 360 CAD/CAM experience.
+ BobCAD-CAM experience.
+ HAAS CNC lathe experience.

This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $45.00/hr.
