Description We are looking for an experienced Payroll Clerk to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts, on a contract basis. This position involves handling payroll operations for a mid-sized workforce, ensuring accuracy and timely processing. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and skilled in payroll systems and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Process weekly payroll for approximately 400 employees and biweekly payroll for 900 employees.

• Ensure accurate input and uploading of commission and severance payments.

• Collaborate closely with the Payroll Manager and Supervisor to maintain smooth payroll operations.

• Address payroll-related inquiries and troubleshoot issues effectively.

• Utilize advanced payroll software and timekeeping systems to manage employee data.

• Maintain compliance with payroll regulations and policies.

• Ensure timely calculation and processing of garnishments and other deductions.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of payroll processes and systems.

• Provide support in hybrid work arrangements, including remote and on-site attendance as required. Requirements • Proven experience in full-cycle payroll processing for 100-500 employees.

• Familiarity with severance and commission payment uploads.

• Strong knowledge of payroll software and timekeeping systems.

• Ability to handle garnishments and deductions with precision.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with team members.

• Capacity to adapt to hybrid work schedules and attend on-site when necessary.
