    Payor Credentialing Specialist Details

    Essential Job Duties:

    + Credentialing/re-credentialing applications for managed care organizations and hospitals

    + Maintaining provider credential files and records

    + Assisting with revenue cycle duties and analysis

    + Performing other managed care tasks as assigned

     

    Education, Training & Experience

     

    + High School diploma required, Associate Degree preferred.

    + Medical Staff Coordinator Certification (CMSC) preferred.

    + Excellent grasp of standard written and verbal English, spelling, and basic business math required.

    + Typing speed of 60+ wpm required.

    + Knowledge of medical terminology required.

    + Prior work experience in a healthcare setting required.

    + Proficiency with computers and various software required.
