DESCRIPTION OF WORK
The incumbent will supervise the operation of the maintenance shops and carpentry shop, requisitioning of supplies, controlling of equipment/supplies/inventories and related transactions. Inspect Foreman and MR2 work. Monitor all service work utilizing Reports through to completion/acceptance. Assign and supervise use of automotive equipment.
Additionally, the applicant will Supervise four (4) Foremen and oversee a total of 23 people. Perform related administrative duties as required.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
+ Full-time employment
+ Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
+ Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
+ Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
+ Two years of experience as a Facility Operations Manager 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration);or
+ Three years of experience as a Building Maintenance Foreman (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration);or
+ Five years of experience performing skilled trades work in commercial or industrial buildings which includes three years of supervisory experience overseeing skilled trades work in commercial or industrial buildings, or utility plant operations.
Special Requirement:
+ This position requires possession of a valid Class C driver's license.
