    Role: Helpdesk Technician

    Description of work to be performed:

    Our customer in Syracuse NY, is looking to add 4, qualified IT Service Desk professionals to join their team of 13 as they are experiencing growth within the company and team has grown overwhelmed with ticket volumes as well as to address some positive attrition they've had in the org from members leaving the team. They support office and clinical locations around the country as well as aspen dental corporate/office employees.

    Common issues that they are supporting and resolving on a day-day basis include:

    - Unlocking Accounts

     

    - Network Reboots (VPN issues)

     

    - Wireless Printer Connection

     

    - Troubleshooting Hardware/Software

     

    - Working within ServiceNOW for ticketing systems

     

    - Microsoft Office Suite (O365)

     

    - Windows 10 OS

     

    - Computer Performance

    Responsibilities

    • Provides user assistance and ticket resolution for hardware, software, and networking needs.

    • Diagnoses and troubleshoots problems with technical systems to maintain proper functionality, and escalates unresolved issues as needed.

    • Conducts diagnostic reviews and troubleshoots issues as requested by users.

    • Recommends hardware solutions for user computers in office areas.

    • Troubleshoots and updates devices remotely.

    Top Skills' Details

    1. Service Desk Support - ideally a candidate will have some enterprise level experience supporting Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office product suites, hardware and software in an enterprise environment.

     

    -- in absence of this experience a minimum requirement would be A+ certification or equivalent education.

     

    2. Communication & Customer Service - They must have strong customer service and verbal communication to deescalate customers and resolve issues efficiently and effectively.

    3. Aptitude & Reliability - must be RELIABLE and show up to work on time, have a good history of attendance and positive aptitude and work ethic. (verified via references)

     

    Time frame for completion: 3 month contract

    This is a Contract position based out of Syracuse, NY.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
