    Job Title: Electrical Designer

    Position Summary:

    Seeking an innovative and detail-oriented Electrical Designer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will utilize your expertise in power and lighting design to create comprehensive electrical designs for a diverse range of projects. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that all designs meet functional requirements and compliance standards.

    Essential Functions:

    + Develop and produce detailed drawings for lighting, power, and electrical distribution systems across various projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards and client expectations.

    + Perform lighting and power engineering calculations to support design decisions.

    + Design electrical systems in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

    + Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to seamlessly integrate electrical systems into overall project designs.

    + Support the procurement process by evaluating and specifying appropriate materials and equipment for new electrical infrastructure, as well as reviewing vendor proposals.

    + Adhere to project schedules, budgets, and scope of work while maintaining a positive and professional work environment.

    Qualifications:

    Required:

    + Vocational Certificate or Associate's degree in Engineering Design or Drafting.

    + 3+ years of electrical design experience in the architectural/built environment.

    + Proficiency in Revit and MS Office.

    + Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IBC, IECC) with the ability to perform calculations and analyses to support design decisions.

    Preferred:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

    + Proficiency in electrical analysis software (e.g., SKM PowerTools).

    + Competency in AutoCAD.
