Position Overview
We're seeking an experienced Account Manager to drive operational excellence and strategic growth within our B2B ingredients division. This position serves as the operational backbone connecting customers, distributors, and internal teams—ensuring every transaction flows smoothly from quote to delivery while building partnerships that drive sustainable revenue growth.
**Location** : Hybrid in Irvine, CA
**Hours** : M-F 8-5
**Type** : Direct-Hire
**Compensation** : 70-100k annually (DOE)
Key Responsibilities
+ Oversee the complete lifecycle of ingredient orders, from initial request through final delivery, maintaining accuracy across volumes, pricing structures, and shipping terms.
+ Function as the primary liaison for ingredient buyers and distribution partners, facilitating transparent communication and operational alignment.
+ Drive the complete revenue cycle from initial outreach through contract execution, encompassing discovery, solution design, negotiation, and agreement finalization.
+ Equip partners with current product knowledge, regulatory updates, and technical/marketing resources to accelerate market penetration.
+ Work alongside customers to refine demand planning and strengthen alignment with internal capacity planning.
+ Prepare executive-level account summaries showcasing performance trends, risk factors, growth opportunities, and critical metrics.
Required Qualifications
+ Minimum 3 years in account coordination, commercial operations, business development, or order management— **preferably within nutraceuticals, supplements, or consumer packaged goods sectors.**
+ Demonstrated expertise with enterprise resource planning systems (such as NetSuite) and comprehensive order-to-cash processes.
+ Track record of successful collaboration across finance, logistics, regulatory affairs, and commercial functions.
+ Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels
+ Customer-centric orientation emphasizing growth, retention, and sustainable partnership value.
+ Data-driven decision-maker who leverages insights for continuous operational improvement.
