    We are seeking a visionary VP - Head of Data and Advertising Solutions to lead Experian’s strategy and execution across data, technology, and advertising ecosystems. This executive will shape Experian’s role in addressable media and data collaboration, aligning data strategy, platform activation, analytics, and client solutions to deliver measurable impact for partners and clients.

     

    The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in programmatic advertising, data-driven marketing, and advanced analytics with exceptional leadership skills and a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams. Success in this role will be measured by revenue growth, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction, as well as the ability to innovate and adapt in a rapidly evolving ecosystem.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Strategic Leadership

    + Define and execute a comprehensive data strategy aligned with product, technology and client service team organizational goals, and market trends.

    + Shape Experian’s position in the evolving addressable media and data collaboration ecosystem, providing thought leadership on data curation, supply-side trading, and managed service proposals/RFPs.

    + Drive go-to-market strategies, ensuring seamless product launches and platform adoption.

    + Partner with executive leadership to prioritize initiatives that strengthen Experian’s data assets, platform execution and capabilities and strategic partnerships.

    Data Strategy & Activation

    + Develop and oversee implementation of data-driven activation plans that maximize performance and enablement across DSPs, SSPs, and social platforms.

    + Establish constantly evolving standards for data curation, taxonomy governance, and identity resolution to enhance accuracy, transparency, and interoperability.

    + Oversee execution of  best practices for the campaign curation lifecycle including presales, activation / optimization, and post-campaign reviews including partner/segment selection, campaign solution design, pre/post campaign content development for client deliverables and budget recommendations for renewals.

    + Collaborate with product and technology teams to evolve Experian’s data pipelines, ensuring scalability, automation and privacy compliance.

    Operational Excellence

    + Drive operational efficiency by designing processes and tooling that support consistency, transparency, and scalability across global data and activation workflows.

    + Champion continuous improvement through automation, workflow optimization, and stronger cross-functional collaboration.

    + Integrate AI-driven systems using internal and external tools to automate repetitive tasks in execution, accelerate analysis and generally improve efficiency.

    + Implement frameworks to measure performance, quality, and partner engagement, ensuring all systems and operations adhere to Experian’s data governance standards.

    Team Leadership

    + Lead and inspire global teams across Data Strategy, Trading & Curation, Account Intelligence, and Business Intelligence.

    + Build high-performing teams that leverage AI and automation to streamline workflows, improve decision-making, and enhance delivery consistency.

    + Serve as the escalation point for performance challenges and provide hands-on support when needed.

    + Lead strategic initiatives across the company, partnering with Sales, Product, Technology, and Go-To-Market teams.

    + Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, accountability, and technical excellence where teams proactively identify opportunities to apply AI to increase efficiency and impact.

    + Partner with executive leadership and HR to evolve organizational design, skill development and future capabilities.

    Business Intelligence & Analytics

    + Oversee analytical frameworks to present weekly updates on executive calls, including performance and ecosystem trends, forecasts, and actionable insights.

    + Leverage analytics to inform data strategy decisions, product enhancements, and partnership prioritization.

    + Drive transparent data insights on pricing and performance strategies across all business units to inform executive-level planning and partner engagement.

    Client / Partner Support & Service Excellence

    + Partner closely with Sales and Client Success teams to deliver exceptional client experiences.

    + Act as a strategic advisor and curation subject-matter-expert to clients and key partners, ensuring alignment between their objectives and our data and curation solutions.

    + Collaborate with platform partners to co-develop new capabilities, improve interoperability, and ensure mutual value creation.

    + Proactively resolve operational challenges and provide consultative support during onboarding and campaign execution.

    + Establish best practices for client communication, reporting, and performance transparency.

    + Work closely with partners to explore opportunities and drive joint strategic initiatives with shared success metrics

    Continuous Improvement

    + Drive operational excellence across all functions, leveraging automation and advanced analytics.

    + Continuously evaluate emerging technologies, including AI and machine learning  to optimize business operations and team productivity.

    + Champion innovation by piloting and operationalizing new tools, methodologies, and frameworks to enhance performance.

    + 10+ years of experience in AdTech, programmatic trading, data strategy, or related fields.

    + Proven track record of leading large, cross-functional teams and delivering measurable business impact.

    + Deep understanding of the AdTech ecosystem, including DSPs, SSPs, DMPs, social platforms, and ad-serving technologies.

    + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with executive-level presence.

    + Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to market changes.

    + Passionate desire to drive change within the ecosystem and lead the market.

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay range for this position is listed above. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related experience, and education. You will be also eligible for a variable pay opportunity.
