Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

+ Collaborate with other software developers, and UX designers in order to build a set of reusable components, building a common Design System for all groups in Grid engineering to build UI applications.

+ Work within a designated scrum team while supporter engineers from other groups implementation applications using Design System.

+ Build UI applications to be used in transmission, distribution and asset management utility domains.

+ Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and testing techniques.

+ Writes code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project.

+ Understand performance parameters and assess application performance.

+ Work on core data structures and algorithms and implement them using language of choice.

Required Qualification:

+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with minimum of one year of experience.

+ Experience with web front-end technologies such as typescript/javascript, HTML5, CSS, and frameworks like Angular, React, VueJS

Desired Qualification:

+ Experience with agile methodology, working with scrum teams during sprints

+ Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, build tools like npm, and source control tools like git/github

+ Experience writing and/or integrating with REST services on the backend

+ General understanding of the impacts of technology choice to the software development lifecycle

+ Familiarity and experience writing UI mobile applications is a plus

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $58,400.00 and $87,600.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
