    Special Education Teacher (K–3 Resource)

     

    Schedule: 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM

     

    Caseload: Approximately 13 students - Resource

     

    Start Date: ASAP – End of School Year

     

    Do you have a passion for helping students reach their full potential? We’re seeking a Special Education Teacher to join our team and provide exceptional educational support to students in grades K–3. In this role, you’ll collaborate with families, specialists, and general education staff to create individualized learning experiences that foster academic growth and life skills.

     

    What You’ll Do

     

    + Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.

    + Provide resource support for students with diverse learning, emotional, and physical challenges.

    + Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure inclusive and effective instruction.

    + Monitor student progress and adjust plans to meet evolving needs.

    + Communicate regularly with parents and team members to celebrate successes and address challenges.

    + Maintain accurate records and comply with all district, state, and federal requirements.

    What We’re Looking For

    + Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred).

    + Certification: Valid state teaching certificate with Special Education endorsement (LBS1 required).

    + Experience: Minimum of one year in a teaching environment (preferred).

    + Strong communication skills and proficiency in English.

    + Ability to work collaboratively and maintain accurate documentation.

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.
