    Certified School Nurse (RN) – School & Residential Setting

     

    Schedule: Mon–Fri, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (flexibility for weekends/overnights)

     

    Duration: 13 weeks (Temp-to-Perm opportunity)

     

    Start Date: ASAP

     

    About the Role

     

    The Certified School Nurse (CSN) provides essential health care and education to students and young adults in both school and residential settings. This role supports overall well-being, disease prevention, and ensures students have the resources needed to succeed.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Assess and monitor students’ health conditions.

    + Deliver direct nursing care and health instruction.

    + Collaborate with staff to implement care plans.

    + Refer students to appropriate resources as needed.

    Requirements

    + Current RN license in Maryland.

    + School nursing certification/credential (required).

    + Minimum 1 year experience in school or residential setting.

    + Pediatric experience preferred.

    + Current CPR certification.

    + TB screening and health certificate per state regulations.

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.

     

    Interview Process

     

    + In-person if local; virtual for travelers.
