The Senior Analyst, Walmart reporting provides support to Business Analytics Team and Walmart sales team through data analysis and insight development to identify growth opportunities, helps build business understanding across both internal organization and with customer using actionable insights. Responsible for supporting Wells Walmart Bentonville team and may be called upon to develop and manage tools, analytics, and communications for both customer and internal Wells team. Additionally, this role will support the Senior Manager of business analytics with market analysis and macro-economic insights that drive predictive analysis.
Responsibilities Include:
+ Analyzes account, competitive, and consumer trend data to identify growth opportunities and risks and develops insights around what desired outcome and next steps should be based on information learned. Identifies gaps and opportunities within Walmart and the market providing accurate and actionable data-based insights to Sales Team Analysts and Walmart sales team for opportunity planning and risk mitigation.
+ Manage reporting and data integrity. Role will make sure all reports function weekly, and team is able to understand and trust the data in real time. Requirements, including but not limited to the following:
+ Partner with Manager Customer Analytics to keep Monday reports functioning early and send team weekly Monday status update.
+ Update Tableau reports when data is refreshed in Scintilla and Nielsen.
+ Utilize cross store category information in new tools to develop total store insights.
+ Become adept in Scintilla Behavior, Perception and Performance tools; track competitive items and report results weekly.
+ Provide ad-hoc report support for requests that help answer strategic questions from Walmart and Corporate Leaders.
+ Assist Category Insights Manager with weekly insights. Support team and help develop monthly insights reporting back to Bentonville team on competitive strategies and how competitors are affecting the Ice Cream category.
+ Partner with the Walmart Private Brand sales team and Wells internal teams to aid in entering key metrics and information into internal and customer tools, helping to complete customer templates and new item, facility, and other customer required forms, and provide contract support. Ensures timely completion of customer data entry requirements for Private Brands by managing the update of technical information & specifications, working with Product Data Management & Regulatory teams on timely completion. Support Private Brands Business Development Manager with larger projects to make sure we meet timelines with no errors.
+ Expected to maintain and update Bentonville SharePoint site supporting Internal Bentonville Site and Corporate site. Consider Private Brands and Branded firewalls and make sure site reflects current insights and working links. Make sure new employees are added and trained on the site and manage access.
+ Own customer and Wells systems and process management. CPT, SupplierOne, Item 360 during new item launches, Walmart Cost Systems, and other Wells/Walmart systems making sure team avoid errors during key deliverable times.
+ Coordinates with internal cross-functional teams to understand Wells key initiatives and communicates customer key initiatives, and be an objective, fact-based support in decision making process. Mines data and insights, creating concise stories for internal teams and customer based on key overlaps between Wells and Walmart initiatives that will drive growth opportunities for the category and consumer.
