CTG is seeking to fill an Application Database Administrator - RDBMS position for our client in Phoenix, AZ.
**Duration:** 12 months
Duties:
+ Manage, maintain, and optimize enterprise databases (Oracle, MS SQL Server, DB2, Teradata).
+ Ensure high availability, performance tuning, and disaster recovery.
+ Support ETL, data warehousing, and Big Data initiatives.
+ Collaborate with development and operations teams to troubleshoot and enhance applications.
+ Implement database security, backups, and compliance measures.
Skills:
+ Strong expertise in RDBMS platforms and SQL.
+ Proficiency in Python and database automation/scripting.
+ Knowledge of ETL, data warehousing, and Big Data concepts.
+ Experience in performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting complex database issues.
Experience:
+ Proven DBA experience managing production and development environments.
+ Hands-on experience with disaster recovery and high availability solutions.
Education:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
