    JOB SUMMARY

    The Senior Digital Content Producer is a strategic and hands-on role responsible for building, publishing, and maintaining engaging and measurable digital content across Highmark's various digital properties and channels. This individual will drive the planning, execution, and optimization of digital content strategies to attract prospective consumers and engage and retain existing members and patients.

     

    Leveraging expertise in content management systems and digital experience platforms, the incumbent will oversee publication schedules, multiple workflows, and projects, ensuring timely and impactful delivery of content across web, email, mobile, SMS, and other digital channels. This role requires a strong focus on measurement, analytics, and optimization to ensure digital experiences meet and exceed business objectives.

     

    Working closely with User Experience (UX), Digital Strategy, Digital Media and Performance Analytics, Advanced Analytics and Reporting, Campaign Management, and Development teams, the Senior Digital Content Producer will coordinate and create Microsites, Websites, Web Applications, Marketing Automation, Content Management Systems, and Email Marketing programs. They will be instrumental in translating business goals into measurable outcomes, enhancing digital storytelling, and ensuring Highmark’s online digital presence is compelling, cohesive, and aligned with the brand and experience objectives.

     

    As a key member of the content strategy team, this role also supports content consistency, publication, and development standards across lines of business and technologies. The ideal candidate is highly collaborative, data-driven, possesses exceptional critical thinking and communication skills, and demonstrates strong project management abilities to balance multiple priorities with accuracy, attention to detail, and a commitment to meeting deadlines.

     

    This role can be hybrid or remote. If you live within 50 miles of an office you are required to be onsite 3 days a week. T, W, Th.

    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Work with internal and external teams to develop, implement, oversee, and report on content delivery platforms across the department, to include; overseeing publishing SLAs and schedules, content providers, approvals and governanc, andworking with the development team to define and implement new features.

    + Oversee the day-to-day content uploading and publishing on a variety or digital properties by working with partners in Marketing Strategy, Digital Strategy, UX/UI, and other content stakeholders as required.

    + Manage and maintain a publishing schedule for a variety of platforms and content properties using Content Management Systems such as Adobe Experience Manager, Drupal, WordPress, or other CMSs and web publishing technologies.

    + Partner with internal clients assist them on their adoption and use of digital tools for content management and publication schedules and web content governance. Help internal users manage and understand authoring roles and privileges.

    + Work with development team to define current product updates and future feature development across platforms the team maintains including web publishing, microsites, landing pages, and email.

    + Build and maintain web pages, landing pages, and microsites using a variety of technologies and platforms to deliver content in a timely manner.

    + Other duties as assigned.

    EDUCATION

    Required

    + Bachelor's Degree in Computer and Information Science, Information Technology and Marketing

    Substitutions

    + 6 years related and progressive experience in lieu of Bachelor degree.

    Preferred

    + Bachelor's Degree in English

    EXPERIENCE

    Required

    + 5 - 7 years Marketing Producation

    To Include

    + 3 - 5 years Cross-Functional Project Teams

    Preferred

    + 5 - 7 years digital content development in Communications or Journalism

    + 1 - 3 years Project Management Tool – Agile principles and methodology

    + Adobe Workfront experience

    + Health care or pharmaceutical industry experience

    + Professional experience using technology, tools, and AI in a Marketing function.

    Pay Range Minimum:

    $57,700.00

    Pay Range Maximum:

    $107,800.00

     

    _Base pay is determined by a variety of factors including a candidate’s qualifications, experience, and expected contributions, as well as internal peer equity, market, and business considerations. The displayed salary range does not reflect any geographic differential Highmark may apply for certain locations based upon comparative markets._
