Job Description
The Advance Practice Registered Nurse- Clinical Specialty provides an advanced level of care in collaboration with specialty physicians and other members of the health care team to a specific patient population. Maintains an advanced knowledge base and skill in the assessment and treatment of disease and management of health/illness where Clinical Specialty is a preferred treatment resource for patients. May perform specific diagnostic and/or interventional procedures under the supervision of the physician.
Minimum Requirements
+ Master of Science in Nursing required Licensed as a registered professional nurse in Missouri Graduation and certification for Nurse Practitioner program and/or certification in specialty as approved by the Missouri State Board of Nursing for Advanced Practice may be required.
+ 2 years experience as family practice nurse practitioner in a Clinical Specialty clinic, or other relevant Clinical Specialty environment
+ Certification affiliated with Clinical Specialty service line
+ Current BCLS verification.
+ Demonstrates clinical expertise in Clinical Specialty.
+ Demonstrates leadership ability.
Preferred
+ 3-5 years clinical Clinical Specialty experience preferred
+ Advanced education in the diagnosis and management of patients with diseases where Clinical Specialty is implicated
