Job Overview
Here at Fairview, we are now seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our imaging team at our Fairview Wyoming Family Practice Clinic and Fairview Chisago City Clinic! This is a .6 FTE (48 hours per 2 weeks) position that will work the following schedule:
Every other Monday (7:30AM - 6PM)
Every Wednesday (7:30AM - 6PM)
Every Friday (7:30AM - 5PM)
The Clinic Radiologic Technologist provides services to patients and physicians through the creation of high-quality diagnostic imaging in an ambulatory setting. Responsible for providing quality age-appropriate patient care for patients according to established standards of practice and works collaboratively with all members of the health care team. The clinic radiologic technologist supports all diagnostic imaging procedures offered in the care setting. Provides assist in the opening of the supplies/equipment for special procedure cases as well as responding to trauma activations and other emergent needs for imaging in an ambulatory care environment.
Responsibilities
+ Maintains patient care standards
+ Accurately performs diagnostic exams and procedures
+ Identifies relevant data from images accurately.
+ Verify patient identification and documentation
+ Communicate with and educate patient regarding pertinent information during all aspects of service
+ Completes quality diagnostic images through correct patient positioning and use of technical factors according to protocol.
+ Accurately maintains and updates patient records including; edits, scheduling, billing, status changes and image transfers in a timely manner
+ Performs accurate image marking and digital image manipulation and archiving
Required
+ Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
+ ARRT Certification/Registration
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) before date of hire
Preferred
+ Bachelors Degree
+ 3 years of experience as a technologist
+ Advanced Imaging modality certification
