    Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced Tech Lead with a strong background in cloud technologies to guide our team through a major transformation. While we are migrating from a mainframe environment, the primary focus of this role will be on cloud architecture and implementation. You will play a critical role in designing and leading the technical aspects of the migration. This team supports network and provider demographic/information systems. Current project phase is pushing out proof of concept now that the roadmap is completed.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Serve as the technical lead for cloud migration initiatives, ensuring best practices and scalability.

    • Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to design and implement cloud-based solutions.

    • Lead the proof of concept phase for migrating data from mainframe systems to the cloud.

    • Provide technical guidance on data integration and transformation strategies.

    • Oversee development efforts, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.

    • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud infrastructure and data migration.

    Skills and Requirements

    • Proven experience as a Tech Lead on projects involving cloud migrations.

    • Strong expertise in AWS and cloud-native architectures.

    • Hands-on experience with:

     

    o MongoDB

     

    o Kafka

     

    o Precisely (data movement from mainframe to cloud)

    o Python

    • Experience working on projects where data was migrated from mainframe to cloud.

    • Ability to lead technical teams and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders. • Knowledge of mainframe systems and legacy data structures
