Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Scrum Master / Billing Project Manager to join their team remotely. This role supports a long-running initiative focused on integrating large-scale power billing for Connecticut. The current phase involves feeding meter data into the GridX billing platform and leveraging a calculation engine to generate accurate customer bills. The project has been underway for several years, and the current lead—who is also managing another Waterfall project—will provide transition support. The Scrum Master will be responsible for daily standups, managing story points, and tracking progress in Jira, with reporting transitioned into MS Office for stakeholders. This position requires strong leadership in Agile delivery, including oversight of schedule, scope, risks, dependencies, and issues, while driving continuous improvement and removing impediments. The environment includes significant challenges with shadow IT and legacy systems, requiring collaboration with vendors and internal teams to identify the right technical approach. The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex billing projects, coordinating with GridX as the billing system vendor, and ensuring successful integration of meter data into the platform for accurate billing.
