    Who you are:

    The ideal candidate will lead and oversee the execution of multiple, complex projects that leverage data-driven insights to guide strategic decision-making. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, executives, and stakeholders to ensure business objectives are met, while also driving data-centric initiatives. This role requires the ability to manage projects from initiation to completion while utilizing advanced analytical skills to interpret and synthesize data into actionable business insights.

    What you’ll do:

    Program Management:

    + Establish and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

    + Oversee multiple concurrent projects, coordinating resources, managing dependencies, and resolving obstacles to ensure successful project delivery.

    + Collaborate with internal teams, executives, and cross-functional stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and expectations.

    + Proactively identify risks, issues, and potential delays, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.

    + Ensure effective communication and status reporting across all levels of the organization, driving project visibility and alignment.

    Business Intelligence & Data:

    + Leverage advanced analytical techniques to interpret and visualize large, complex datasets, identifying trends, patterns, and actionable insights.

    + Utilize business intelligence (BI) tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms to create dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    + Conduct thorough data analysis to inform decision-making, monitor performance, and identify opportunities for improvement across various business areas (e.g., sales, operations).

    + Translate business requirements into clear analytical approaches, KPIs, and success metrics that align with broader organizational goals.

    Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:

    + Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and operations, to gather data requirements, validate findings, and ensure the integration of analytics into business processes.

    + Drive consensus on data-driven initiatives, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and actively engaged in the process.

    + Present complex analytical findings in a clear, concise manner to executive leadership and other non-technical audiences, facilitating informed decision-making.

    Continuous Improvement & Innovation:

    + Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in both program management and data analytics to ensure the organization remains on the cutting edge.

    + Proactively seek opportunities for process improvements, automation, and data integration to streamline operations and drive efficiencies.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + 5-8+ years of experience in program management, data analytics, or related fields.

    + Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.

    + Proven experience leading multiple, high-priority, complex projects, from initiation to delivery.

    + Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    + Experience in managing project stakeholders and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive project success.

    + Advanced proficiency in data analysis, manipulation, and visualization using tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI, or similar technologies.

    + Strong ability to interpret large, complex datasets and synthesize findings into actionable insights.

    + Experience with building and managing dashboards, reports, and other data-driven deliverables.

    + Deep understanding of key business metrics and KPIs across sales, operations, and other business areas.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to distill technical findings into clear, actionable insights for executive leadership and non-technical stakeholders.

    + Strong interpersonal skills, with experience building relationships across various teams and stakeholders.

    + Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and drive consensus in cross-functional teams.

    + Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    + Experience with agile project management methodologies is a plus. Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, Agile/Scrum) is a plus.

    + Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.

    Message to applicants applying to work in the U.S. and/or Canada:

     

    The starting salary range posted for this position is $109,300.00 to $145,200.00 and reflects the projected salary range for new hires in this position in U.S. and/or Canada locations, not including incentive compensation*, equity, or benefits.

     

    Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location, market conditions, job-related skillset, experience, qualifications, education, certifications, and/or training. The full salary range for certain locations is listed below. For locations not listed below, the recruiter can share more details about compensation for the role in your location during the hiring process.

     
     
     

    + 10 paid holidays per full calendar year, plus 1 floating holiday for non-exempt employees

    + 1 paid day off for employee’s birthday, paid year-end holiday shutdown, and 4 paid days off for personal wellness determined by Cisco

    + Non-exempt employees** receive 16 days of paid vacation time per full calendar year, accrued at rate of 4.92 hours per pay period for full-time employees

    + Exempt employees participate in Cisco’s flexible vacation time off program, which has no defined limit on how much vacation time eligible employees may use (subject to availability and some business limitations)

    + 80 hours of sick time off provided on hire date and each January 1st thereafter, and up to 80 hours of unused sick time carried forward from one calendar year to the next

    + Additional paid time away may be requested to deal with critical or emergency issues for family members

    + Optional 10 paid days per full calendar year to volunteer

     

    For non-sales roles, employees are also eligible to earn annual bonuses subject to Cisco’s policies.

     

    Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components, subject to the applicable Cisco plan. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:

     

    + .75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;

    + 1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;

    + 1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and

    + Once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.

     

    For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay 0% up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.

    The applicable full salary ranges for this position, by specific state, are listed below:

    New York City Metro Area:

    $132,300.00 - $200,100.00

    Non-Metro New York state & Washington state:

    $117,300.00 - $219,300.00

     

    * For quota-based sales roles on Cisco’s sales plan, the ranges provided in this posting include base pay and sales target incentive compensation combined.

    ** Employees in Illinois, whether exempt or non-exempt, will participate in a unique time off program to meet local requirements.
