Job Summary:
Provide administrative support for the recruitment teamand oversee day-to-day duties to ensure an efficient and safe working environment.TheOnboarding Specialistshould also have excellent administrative and IT skills with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.The Onboarding specialist will manage onboarding for new hires, volunteers, interns, and clinical affiliate students.
Responsibilities:
+ Provide a seamless positive candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding
+ Process all required new hire forms accurately for internal and external applicants to start
+ Schedule HR appointments, in conjunction with Occupational Health for new hires to provide onboarding documents
+ Provide a high level of customer service to internal/external candidates, hiring managers, and leadership
+ Verify all credentials/licenses with candidates
+ Conduct background checks – SEL, SCR, CHRC and applicable checks as needed
+ Perform reference checks
+ Establish/build relationships with hiring managers/departments, colleges & universities to assist in recruiting for all facilities
+ Assist recruiters with prescreening candidates, setting up interviews and hiring events
+ Maintain accurate data in applicant tracking system
+ Keep up to date on all Pre-Employment Guidelines adhering to State and Federal Regulations
+ Participates in and performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
+ Special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
Experience:
+ Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to analyze, explain and present data and findings.
+ Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
+ Demonstrated strong attention to detail, problem-solving, critical thinking and analytical skills.
+ Ability to work independently as well as collaborating with team members from various healthcare departments.
+ Experience with Microsoft Office suite; including Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
Education:
Associates Degree Required.Bachelors Degree a plus.
