Key Responsibilities
+ Serve as the Point of Contact for the OTP, liaising with DPDS administrative staff, MD Statewide DON, ACOMs, and vendor partners.
+ Oversee the development and periodic updates of site-level OTP policies, procedures, and program manuals.
+ Monitor Addiction Medicine Clinic operations to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and facility guidelines.
+ Collaborate with the OTP Program Director and Program Sponsor to uphold safe and effective care standards.
+ Assist nursing staff and providers in maintaining patient flow and meeting certification/licensing requirements.
+ Work with the Operations Team to ensure optimal staffing levels for Addiction Medicine services.
+ Support onboarding activities for new nursing team members providing addiction care.
+ Represent the OTP in facility meetings, including Monthly MAC and CQI meetings.
+ Conduct program-level staff meetings in collaboration with the Program Director, including nursing and mental health team members.
+ Make routine site visits to MTC and MCIW programs to oversee operations and provide support.
+ Report weekly program statistics to the Operations Team.
+ Adhere to standard precautions and use personal protective equipment as required.
+ Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Key Qualifications
+ **Education:** Graduation from an approved nursing education program with a diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required. A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is recommended.
+ **Certification:** Must hold a current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
+ **Experience:** Supervisory or management experience preferred, along with a background in corrections nursing.
+ **Skills:** Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
+ **Time Management:** Demonstrated ability to effectively manage time and priorities.
