    Summary

    + The Armed Security Officerprovidesfirst response to emergencies,enforcesfederal law and assimilated state law,andconductsmobile patrols.

    Responsibilities

    + Provide access control, trafficcontroland conduct walking and motorized armed security functions.

    + Conduct personnel, vehicular,building, &facility checks and package & parcel inspections.

    + Must be able to work flexible hours to include weekends and holidays if needed.

    + Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    + Minimum High School Diploma or GED.

    + Must be at least 21 years of age.

    + Two years of service in the United States Armed Services (including Reserve or National Guard), or

    + Any combination of two years of experience in physical security (as a security officer - armed or unarmed) and service with the United States Armed Services (including Reserves or National Guard), or

    + Associate's degree in a Security or Law Enforcement related field, or successful completion of a police officer’s basic training academy.

    + Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license.
