Corteva has an exciting opportunity for an **Administrative Assistant** to join our company at our **Johnston Iowa** location.

This role will be on site at the Johnston Corteva location 3 days a week (T/W/TH) and can be remote (M/F).
What You’ll Do:
+ Manage complex calendars, schedule meetings and travel, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to prevent conflicts.
+ Prepare agendas and ensure meeting materials are accurate and ready in advance.
+ Act as liaison between the VP and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth communication.
+ Arrange domestic and international travel, prepare detailed itineraries, and process expense reports.
+ Organize and facilitate in-person and virtual meetings; distribute actionable follow-ups.
+ Create and maintain presentations, reports, and spreadsheets; manage confidential files and records.
+ Assist with budget tracking and project documentation to support departmental goals.
+ Support special projects by gathering data, monitoring progress, and ensuring deadlines are met.
+ Filter requests and determine priorities requiring VP attention; manage competing priorities effectively.
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners; represent leadership professionally.
+ Process data entry time and manage accounts receivable/payable for departmental operations.
Education:
You have your High School Diploma/GED.
What Skills You Need:
+ 2-5 years of experience as an administrative professional.
+ Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
+ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, & Word).
+ Familiarity with project management principles, including development, implementation, and oversight of business projects and procedures.
+ Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; adept at working under pressure.
+ Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
+ Skilled in managing multiple tasks and competing priorities effectively.
+ Ability to lead initiatives and collaborate as part of a team.
+ Committed to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.
+ Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
What Makes You Stand Out:
+ 6–10 years of experience as an administrative professional.
+ Associate degree: equivalent experience accepted.
