Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm
Rate: $23.00/hr
This is a temporary leave replacement position that could possibly turn into full-time.
Job Title:Temporary Payroll Clerk (Leave Replacement)
Summary:
The Temporary Payroll Clerk supports the Payroll Department in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for all employees. This position will assist with day-to-day payroll operations, provide front-line support to staff inquiries, and help maintain organized and compliant payroll records.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Answer and triage calls to the payroll help desk, resolving or routing inquiries as appropriate.
+ Perform filing, data entry, and general administrative support for the payroll team.
+ Audit payroll records and assist in identifying and correcting errors.
+ Process payroll in a timely and accurate manner.
+ Prepare and issue miscellaneous payroll checks, including sign-on bonuses and employee referral awards.
+ Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with all payroll policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
+ 1–2 years of previous payroll experience preferred
+ Experience using Dayforcepreferred.
+ Moderate to advanced proficiency inMicrosoft Excel.
+ Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
+ Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
