Introduction
Product Management sits at the intersection of Technology, Business, and Design, serving as the central function that defines what products should be built and why. As a Product Specialist, you are a critical part of this function, directly supporting the execution of the product strategy by translating high-level vision into actionable product requirements and managing the day-to-day product development lifecycle. Your role ensures that features developed in areas like Security AI, Application Modernization and Computing Systems deliver measurable customer value while achieving defined business outcomes—making you a foundational driver of product success.
Your role and responsibilities
Join our Product Management team for an intensive internship designed to immerse you in the full product lifecycle across key strategic areas: Security, Data & AI, Application Modernization, and Advanced Computing. You will gain hands-on experience in market research, competitive analysis, and translating complex user needs into actionable product requirements and user stories. This is a unique opportunity to learn how products are built from the ground up, balancing technical feasibility with business impact and customer value.
By the end of the program, you will have significantly enhanced your skills in business communication, data analysis, and product ownership. You will learn to manage cross-functional collaboration with engineering, design, and sales teams, acting as part of the central hub for product decisions. This experience will provide a strong foundation for launching a successful career in product management and technology leadership.
Required technical and professional expertise
Actively enrolled in college/university
Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
Analytical Thinking: Demonstrated ability to break down ambiguous problems, conduct root cause analysis, and synthesize data to inform decision-making.
Customer Focus: ability to think from a customer's perspective.
Product Curiosity: A strong interest in the product development lifecycle and technology trends.
Preferred technical and professional experience
Junior / Senior level classes in Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Product Management, Business Development, Product Development, and/or Product Design
Experience with customer-facing engagements
Familiarity with AI, Security and Automation concepts and technologies
Prior involvement in projects, clubs, or coursework that required cross-functional coordination or leadership.
Basic understanding of market dynamics, business models, and competitive analysis.
