Technical Repair Manager

Responsibilities
* Ensure the tooling repair facility adheres to Vestas' safety standards and maintains a clean, organized, and compliant workspace.
* Manage daily tooling repair and maintenance operations, setting priorities and allocating resources to ensure timely and high-quality repairs.
* Develop and implement long-term strategies for the tooling repair department, aligning with organizational goals and future growth.
* Identify and execute initiatives that improve performance, reduce costs, and enhance overall efficiency within the department.
* Analyze complex mechanical and engineering issues, develop effective solutions, and support continuous improvement efforts.
* Monitor production and operational reports, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize delays and control costs.
* Provide regular feedback, coaching, and development opportunities to team members, promoting a culture of growth, accountability, and excellence.
Qualifications
* Proficient understanding of mechanical systems and repair processes.
* Experienced in mentoring and empowering team members.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
* Effective written and oral communication skills.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments.
* Experience in performance management and employee development.
Competencies
* Bachelor's degree; High school diploma or GED may be substituted with the equivalent level of relevant experience
* 3 - 5 years of experience in positions of increasing responsibility. Experience in warehousing, distribution, retail, maintenance, repair work, or food service.
* Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience with SAP or ERP/MRP software for supply chain /inventory management.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
* Self-motivated and self-directed
* Skilled at navigating through changes and thriving in ambiguous settings.
* Proficient in interpersonal and communication skills, focusing on good teamwork.

Salary & Career Growth
We offer attractive pay packages, performance bonuses, and mentorship opportunities to support your professional development. The salary range for this position is **$115,000 - 125,000** . Pay will depend on experience, education, and skill set.
