The SAP Support Analyst will primarily drive improvement in MAT’s SAP system. The Support Analyst will use analytical tools, learn best practices, and continue the study of new technologies and processes to support design systems and processes that improve productivity, streamline business functions, and solve problems identified by the business.
Principle Responsibilities
SAP Functional
+ Work with analysts to support business processes, identify relevant systems-based solutions alternatives, and discuss these with business users. Work directly with users and management to build consensus on a solution and coordinate implementation activities. (Break/Fix)
+ Prepare and execute test scripts for business process changes and upgrades
+ Develop and maintain Design Documents, Training Documents, Business Process Documents, Flowcharts, and Strategic Decision Documents
+ Develop technical specifications for system enhancements and do the subsequent SAP system configuration, testing, and documentation
+ Regular interaction with users to ensure they understand and are making full use of the system's capabilities
+ Assist in the technical preparation of Business Process Procedures, Test Scenarios, End-user documentation, and User manuals
+ Troubleshoot user problems and implement solutions.
+ Acquire new systems knowledge through research, reading, and formal training.
+ Analyze existing documentation to assess alignment with current system capabilities, identify discrepancies, and develop new documentation to address gaps.
+ Ensure departmental KPIs are consistently achieved by streamlining processes for efficiency, maintaining accuracy in deliverables, and implementing rigorous quality control measures.
Technical
+ Knowledge of configuration in SAP, including the ability to investigate/troubleshoot the existing setup.
+ Knowledge of SAP localization and processes to support local requirements
+ Knowledge and experience in the use of ECATT, LSMW, Winshuttle, or other data load process
+ Limited system debugging, ability to analyze ABAP short dumps and resolve underlying causes. Knowledge of programming languages, in general, is a positive.
+ Assist the BI Analyst with Functional reporting requirements, including writing specifications, testing, and end-user training.
+ Use of OSS to research/resolve problems
+ Assess user security requirements and collaborate with technical teams to design, implement, and maintain security solutions that align with organizational policies and audit compliance standards
Education/Experience:
+ Must have good analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to write routine reports & correspondence.
+ Sound judgment and decision-making skills. Strong work ethic.
+ Experience in MS Office, including Excel and Outlook
+ Good interpersonal/customer relation skills; good verbal and written communication; ability to develop and implement strategic plans.
+ Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and quality.
+ Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends
+ Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities.
+ Bachelor's degree preferred
The posted salary range for this position is $60,000 to $65,500 annually, plus bonus. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications.
