About the Role
We are seeking Member Support Specialist to join our Member Support Center team. In this role, you will provide inbound support for Medicaid members, assisting with benefit education, PCP changes, ID cards, transportation coordination, and other services. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring members receive timely, accurate, and compassionate support.
Daily Schedule
+ Hours of operation: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM CST
+ Shifts available: 8:30–5:00, 9:00–5:30, 9:30–6:00, 10:00–6:30
+ Training: 1-hour lunch break; post-training: 30-minute lunch + two 15-minute breaks
What You’ll Do
+ Answer requests from members with professionalism and empathy
+ Educate members on benefits and services
+ Coordinate care and services including PCP changes, ID cards, and transportation
+ Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to compliance standards
+ Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced call center environment
Requirements
+ Education: High School Diploma required; BA in Social Work, Healthcare Management, or related field preferred
+ Experience:
+ 5+ years working with ABD populations in call centers, Medicaid programs, or MCOs
+ Strong experience in customer service and call center operations
+ Experience with MCO insurance required

This is a Contract position based out of Austin, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
