Job Title: Lab TechnicianJob Description

We are seeking dedicated lab technicians to perform routine analytical procedures in a laboratory setting. The role involves the preparation of water samples following various written EPA and Standard Methods procedures, data entry, and documentation. Technicians will also perform routine instrument maintenance, prepare reagents and standards, and complete other general laboratory-related duties.

Responsibilities

+ Conduct routine analytical procedures in the laboratory.

+ Prepare water samples according to written EPA and Standard Methods procedures.

+ Enter data and maintain written documentation accurately.

+ Perform routine maintenance on laboratory instruments.

+ Prepare reagents and standards for laboratory use.

+ Carry out other general laboratory-related duties as required.

Essential Skills

+ Basic knowledge of techniques such as titrations, viscosity measurements, and pH meter usage.

+ Experience in chemistry, analytical science, or as a laboratory technician.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ A degree or coursework in chemistry or related science fields such as biology, biochemistry, microbiology, or natural sciences is preferred.

+ Willingness to work overtime when required.

Work Environment

The lab environment is clean and organized, specifically focused on testing bottled water. You will be working with a team of 10 or more professionals. The position is for the 1st shift, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pomona, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
