Trial Attorney – High-Profile Litigation (Houston, TX)

A nationally recognized, powerhouse litigation firm is seeking a driven, strategic, and courtroom-ready Trial Attorney to join its Houston office. Key Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with a senior trial team to represent plaintiffs in complex, high-value civil litigation.

Manage cases from initial intake through trial or settlement, taking ownership of strategy, preparation, and execution.

Conduct depositions, argue motions, and drive case development with precision and urgency.

Draft sophisticated pleadings, motions, briefs, and demand packages.

Actively participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, depositions, and trials.

Work across multiple jurisdictions, primarily Texas and Louisiana, with additional cases nationwide.

Maintain proactive communication with clients and ensure exceptional advocacy at every stage.

Qualifications

Licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Bar.

3–5 years of civil litigation experience (plaintiff or defense).

Proven experience taking depositions and arguing motions in court.

Superior writing, research, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.

Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple deadlines without extensive supervision.

Professionalism, discretion, and adherence to all ethical, policy, and confidentiality standards.

Ability to work extended hours when case demands arise.

Willingness to travel as needed for depositions, hearings, and trials.

This is an in-office position; remote work is not available.

Preferred Experience

Trial experience or meaningful participation in trials.

Strong knowledge of Texas state and federal practice.

Proven ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with clients.
